Think back to when you first experienced love. That tingleing feeling when blood is rushing through your veins like galloping horses, the sudden heat on your cheeks like you were filled with boiling water and your heart bursting with desire. Got it?
That's the feeling Eating Pebble had when they played together for the first time, realising that they were all part of something big.Our first few attempts at writing songs failed miserably as we didn't know what to sing about. Eating Pebble tried venturing down the road of great bands like rage against the machine and goldfinger - We sucked.
Having few things to actually complain about, we soon fled the hardcore genre and tried on the pop costume.
One of our favourite new songs at the time was The Coral's fantastic 'Dreaming of you'.
Naturally, we tried it out and soon realised that this was our New sound! Pleasing the audiance and making them dance was our new motto.
B: "I remember I had a really stubborn attitude about writing songs with words like Heart and Love. I thought I'd bring something new to the music if I avoided the classic song themes. But pop songs should be easy and eventually I got out of that bubble of tricky wordplay that never seemed to make any sense at all."
So, without further ado, Eating Pebble brings you the first classic song! - Leave.
