MANDO STORIES: Amsterdam
Enjoy the misty streets of Amsterdam.
It was an early morning, 4 or 5 o'clock when Gustaf and björn was wandering around, completly lost among the streets of Amsterdam looking for their hotel. Completely alone and abandoned by their management crew and the rest of the band they had been given a mission. A mission to travel to this city, with steamy smoke and mysticism rising towards the sky, for interviews whilst the other stay in Germany.
The early morning mist prowled among the street corners of Amsterdam together with two boys desperately searching for help by the kind of people who still was awake at 4 in the morning, The Redlight Girls and The Dealer Boys. Björn and Gustaf got inspired by talking to these people who really was glad to help. The boys compared them to hobby philosophers that spend whole days doing nothing other than reflecting over their lives.
Finally back at the hotel Björn got a revelation. He got a call on the telephone and when he had hung up he told Gustaf that it was from God. "But I really can't tell you what he told me" "But it was a lie".
"We found out that we had to write those songs because it's at that moment, when the stores are closed, the bars are closing, that hour right there, is when you find the most interesting stories."
